just got back from having my birthday dinner with my husband at Xinh’s.

I am a big fan of crab cakes, I order them every chance I get here in the Pacific Northwest, and these were the BEST crab cakes I have ever had: light and fluffy, not full of filler, with two delicious Asian sauces on the side, fabulous!

Husband’s manila clams were amazing, so fresh and delicate, sauce was perfect, zingy but not overwhelming.

can not wait to return, with out-of-town guests or in-town guest, any occasion that calls for a special dinner. The drive from Olympia to Shelton is less than 1/2 hour, totally worth the schlep for the most exquisite shellfish around

and the Olympic Mountain ginger ice cream for dessert was fabulous, too
