I’ve been to this place maybe 5 times, and it’s just really not good, I’m afraid. But it THINKS it’s good. So even MORE annoying.

Egg in the hole! Crawl back in the hole!

This is the best Korean food I’ve had in Manhattan. The barbeque is wonderful.

If you’ve got $65 to spend on sushi for dinner, it’s hard to do better than this. I have never had a bad meal here.

This place was opened by the daughter of Steve Ross (the guy who created Time Warner). They do nice stuff in the wood-burning oven.

This is Joe Bastianich’s first restaurant. I came here because I met the manager while I was eating at the bar at Esca, and he said they have a great veal chop. They DO have a pretty decent veal chop. Also, they have a special wine list on which every wine is $25. That’s a pretty good deal. However, the couple next to me was having the “pasta tasting” and it looked disgusting.

This place isn’t bad. I would put it at the level of, say, JoJo in New York.

This is a great little wine store that also serves food. It’s near the hotel I like to stay at when I’m in Paris. Last time I was there, they were featuring the wines of Leon Barral, which I love. I told the owner, “I buy these wines at Crossroads wine store in Manhattan.” The guy replied, “That is impossible, you cannot buy Barral wines outside of France.” After a few minutes of thinking it over, he said, “Well, any friend of Leon Barral is a friend of mine!”

I’ve actually never eaten here, but I read Steve Plotnicki’s OAD review and became convinced this is five star all the way. I wanted to be the first “reviewer” on facebook.com.

This is the wine critic Robert Parker’s favorite restaurant in Paris. While I like Robert Parker and all, I just don’t get it. The restaurant is nice to look at, but I found the food completely forgettable.
