Sushi House of Taka, with it’s neon window dressing looks like just another trendy Sushi place. But one day I took a chance on it and have been spoiled ever since.

They have interesting rolls, but the best of Taka is in their Nigiri. Their fish is so flavorful any other sushi just tastes bland after them. Of particular note is their Salmon which is just amazing on almost every visit. It melts right in your mouth. Also quite good there is the Yellowtail.

But my favorite item at Taka is the Albacore Belly. It is just to die for! Try it. Regular Albacore is so blah after you’ve had belly. ;-)

And as if having the best fish in town isn’t enough, the portions here are huge while prices are no more than the average Sushi place in town.
