I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about High Street Grill. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, perhaps most people just think it’s a bar. It sounds like the tavern is cool and has good sandwiches, but what I discovered is the upstairs dining room which could be compared to fine dining. Low lights, candles all around, a man playing piano. Food was great, service was great. Best deal of all, wine flights, 3 glasses for around $14, can’t beat that.

Chicken was delicious, stuffed with goat cheese, spinach and mushrooms. My boyfriend had the salmon, it was awesome, served in a Shiraz BBQ sauce.

Il Fiore is a tiny little Italian place on Haddon Ave in Collingswood. Prices are very reasonable and it is a nice atmosphere, although a little small and tables are close together. Food was great. Homemade pastas, great marinara sauce, wish more dishes on the menu featured it. BYOB, bring a great Italian red like chianti or sangiovese. Yum.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Orange beef is great, lots of flavor, meat is tender, hardly any fat. They have great seafood too, like cirtus soy grilled shrimp and scallops in black bean sauce. They have an excellent menu. Good sushi too. It may sound silly, but it’s the best Wonton Soup I’ve ever had, the dumplings are very good and have a lot of flavor, sometimes at other places wonton soup can be bland, but not at Duck Sauce.!

I have been going to this diner for most of my life. Currently, my boyfriend and I have breakfast there every Friday morning. Our waitress, Karen is the best! They have great breakfast foods and the service is always good. For lunch and dinner they have traditional diner food, sandwiches, home-style meals, etc. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but most of what they offer is great.
