BBQ in Chicago
Smoque is located at 3800 N. Pulaski, just south of Irving Park on Pulaski. They have a simple menu with a few meet selections and a few side options, but that is all you need if it’s good BBQ, which they definitely have. The beef brisket is tender and extremely flavorful, the pulled pork is moist, the ribs out of this world. With sweet tea to drink and sides like BBQ baked beans, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and fresh cut fries, who could ask for anything more. Everything is perfect save the limited space, I give Smoque a 5 out of 5.
Dishes I tried:
Beef Brisket
Tender, smoky, and absolutely delicious.

Beer Pizza in St. Charles
I know there are many people who think beer and pizza are a perfect combination. But there are some people who have taken it to another level. It first starts with the beer, Mamma Mia’s Pizza Beer, developed in Campton Township, IL, is brewed in Wisconsin with oregano, basil, tomato, and garlic. Now I know there some people with puzzled looks on their face, but believe me you have to try it to understand it. So that is the beer. Now at Michel Angelos Pizza and Pasta, in St. Charles, IL (40W134 Campton Crossing Dr.) they take this unique beer and make a Pizza Crust with it. It is a new thing they are trying and I think they hit the nail on the head. First off their regular crust is superb, but I must say the Pizza Beer crust is probably the best crust I’ve had on a Pizza. It is light, crispy, chewy, and delicious all at the same time. I can’t imagine a better local pizzeria, but even if you’re not in the area it is worth the trek. The only downfall is they don’t serve the beer at the restaurant because they don’t have a liqueur license, but it is byob, so you can just bring your own, if you can find it because the places that carry it say it flies off the shelf. And if you get the two together, it truly is the perfect combination of beer and pizza. I give them both a 5 out of 5.

Indian and Pakistani in Orland Park
Taj Mahal is located at 14812 S. Lagrange in Orland Park. It’s discrete location and quite atmosphere is welcoming and humble. I must say I am not overly exposed to Indian or Pakistani cuisine, but I must say everything was delicious. The lamb and chicken dishes are tender and savory, and the eggplant, Baigan Bharta, is outstanding. The Naan is absolutely fantastic, as is the Mango drink. I give Taj Mahal a 4 out of 5.

The Best Damn Metal Burger Bar in Chicago
Kuma’s Corner. . . what more can you ask for than a unique beer selection, great metal music, and some of the best burgers in your life, each of which is named after a metal band. I tried the Yob, and it was really great, really really great in fact, I used the word suburb. It is located on Belmont and Sacramento. I would strongly suggest you check it out, even if you don’t like metal. Unless for some reason you can’t appreciate a delicious burgers, in which case stick with McDonald’s. I give Kuma’s Corner a 5 out of 5.
Dishes I tried:
The Yob
A great flavor combination, and well prepared.

Munster Pub delightful to the senses.
Three Floyds brewery is located in Munster IN. They brew great beer in a wide selection, I’m sure you could find one that you like, so far my favorite is the Gumballhead. However there is also a food implication, because they have a pub that serves up traditional pub fare spruced up to satisfy with more sophisticated flavors. I love the environment, the beer, and the food. I give Three Floyd’s Pub a 5 out of 5.

Heaven on a Plate, on the Seventh Floor
First I must say Jimmy Bannos is one of my favorite Chicago, though I haven’t met that many, but still. This restaurant has some unbeatable dishes, namely th gumbo. But it isn’t limited to that. I would also recommend a hurricane which pair’s nicely with the whole style of the restaurant. I love the whole atmosphere of this restaurant. Also Jimmy does classes here where he teaches while you eat, which is well worth the price and it makes for a fun evening. I give Heaven on Seven a 5 out of 5.
Dishes I tried:
Gumbo
Best gumbo I’ve ever had.

Innovative and Delicious
Moto . . . leaves you speechless. The food is fabulous, and the presentation is stunning. First and foremost everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful which is why the innovativeness is able to shine. I had the ten coarse and was taken away by how everything looked, smelled, tasted, felt in your mouth; everything was special even the edible menu. Though it is expensive and may be considered timely by some, it is fine dinning and I feel it is greatly worth it. I wouldn’t go there every week, but I would like to go back. Moto is located in Chicago on 945 W. Fulton Market. I give Moto a five out of five.

This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and good food. I had the pleasure of ordering several appetizers, of which the plantain nachos and the jerk chicken wings were outstanding. The meal is good aswell, though next time i think I would want to try the jerk chicken because the appetizer was so good. Service for me was not bad, I was with a vegan, who the waiter went to check with the chef to make sure there were no dairy or other ingredients of the like. All in all it was a fun experience with good food I give Calypso a 4 out of five.
