One of my favorite restaurants as it serves a really yummy eggplant basil dish (which has been cited by the two other reviewers) and other yummy veggie dishes. Sorry meat lovers- not qualified to comment on their carnivorous dishes, but from going with non-veg friends and watching other diners, pretty sure that those dishes are tasty too! Prices are decent but it does get crowded easily! Also, you have to pass some some stinky sections of C-town.

Food is excellent Tex-Mex and is the only place in Boston I’ve tried which makes ‘authentic’ margaritas that are comparable to ones I’ve had in Dallas/Austin. Prices are low, portions are huge, and the ambience is lots of fun! Be prepared to wait, cause the lines, even when Harvard is closed for the summer, are crazy….good time to grab a drink and ‘pre-game’

I am writing this review based on 1 item on their Sunday brunch menu. They serve corn waffles with this amaaazing syrup made of rum, apple cider and maple syrup, with bananas and strawberries. To add to the wonderful taste of the syrup, the bananas they used tasted more like sweet plantains…together they were really scrumptious and complemented perfectly!

Lovely, intimate restaurant on Newbury that serves excellent Italian dishes. Ingredients were fresh, items prepared ‘just so’, and portion sizes were not ridiculously large. Recommend the caprise and grilled vegetable ravioli. Great wine selection too. A little on the pricey side, but not inordinately so. Not sure about how easy it is to find seating when the outside section is shut down due to cold weather!

One of the best tapas places I’ve ever eaten at! The eggplant frites were simply delicious…light and crispy with the eggplant cooked to the perfect tenderness combined with an amazing balsamic honey sauce. The fried goat cheese with Jamaican honey was rich and yummy without being overheavy. The vegetables in the veggie paella were fresh and flavorful, the rice was in the exact proportion to the vegetables, and the sauce a perfect spiciness. The avocado with red quinoa was a really great and scrumptious combination! The food combined with a really cool and funky atmosphere and great service made it a fantastic meal!
