I read some reviews on this restaurant, I checked out the menu. I was LESS than excited to go here. I agreed to go and was definitely impressed. I loved the food, the atmosphere though the prices can be a little bit steep. But here’s where it sold me.. and I learned my lesson the first time. I realized the dessert here really takes the cake (yah dumb joke!) so make sure you order lightly… the desserts are to die for.

I LOVE this place and it’s been awhile. This is where I go if I NEED and desire comfort food. The menu is super duper colorful, the vegetables fresh and organic, you must definitely try the soup. I’ve had a few different ones now and they are amazing and very pure. Although the food has this hearty comfort feel, you do not feel like you ate hearty greesy food, it’s the exact opposite.

Lastly, the other reasons this place gets a high rating from me? You can choose your own bathroom music!! I love it! As well as the restaurant atmosphere!!! Great date spot.

For me, this place is average. I like the location and charming setting but I’ve never ordered anything that WOW’d me. I know a lot of people who love this place so perhaps I’m ordering the wrong items. This last week I had their spaghetti with oil, butter and garlic. It was good, lots of garlic which is what I like but nothing too over the top like Mamma Melina’s from the week before.

OK, I am not a huge eater but I ordered the Chicken skewers.. two of them per the recommendation of the server. I swear to GOSH they killed 8 chickens as a result. There was so much chicken I could not believe it! And the sauce which I believe was supposed to be some sort of soy based marinade was too salty. But here’s the thing — every OTHER item I saw and tried with friends was excellent! So, I’m not at all disappointed. The atomosphere, two thumbs up. The dishware is fantastic.

The location is a bit tricky… which may have been the reason this restaurant was not more packed as well as the fact it’s fairly newer.

Overall, a really great experience. Can’t wait to go back.

This one is interesting… the menu is phenomenal, the food is even better but the atmosphere has thrown me off a little bit, and I feel still has a little bit of catching up to do with the food. The desserts, pastries and baked items are INSANELY delicious. It’s worth a trip just for that. I went for brunch and although I had the oatmeal as I was just in that oatmeal sort of mood, the other entrees my friends ordered looked incredibly yummy. The service was great too! Plus they just sell little cute random items that make this place fun. Now a remodel and relocation outside of a business center would do a lot for this restaurant.

Fave place to catch up with my girls.. but just one or two of them at a time. This place is tiny so there’s never much room and always a wait. I LOVE the pastries, love the healthy organic breakfasts. Service is fine.. nothing special.

Awesome brunch spot! I love the new menus each time and never have a problem finding something that I like, no matter what region they pick. This place is always packed so it usually takes awhile to get a table on the weekends during the noon timeframe. Location super cute.. love 15th Ave.

Such a charming date place. It’s funny I went with a girlfriend of mine. But attending U of W, having lived in the U-District, it’s ironic how this place has never sucked me in there until recently. And I loved the food!!

Skeptical about the flat-ish like bread for an Italian restaurant I was blown away. Definitely make an exception to your low carb diet when dining here. It’s WORTH every bite.

I had the gnocchi which was phenomenal. I’m a strange eater. I don’t normally eat tomato-based pasta dishes. I loved this one!! I had left overs and was craving the gnocchi and the bread the very next day.

Dessert.. oh gosh. The three of us girls had a different dessert. We barely tried each other’s desserts, we were so focused in on our own.

I can’t tell you what is good on this menu other than the satays because I literally crave all of the satays they have. The satays have me coming back over and over. And the mangoes with sticky rice — no other place which serves this dessert even compares!

Disappointed how commercialized Wild Ginger has become compared to it’s older days on Western Ave, this is a great venue for large party sizes with yummy food.

I’ve been coming here since it probably opened. I must explain, I do not eat sushi though I love to frequent Japanese restaurants. The kabocha dumplings with mushroom and sweet soy will always be high on my list of favorites here, as well as the vegetable tempura. Both of these have remained on the menu though the menu changes time to time.

Dessert has NEVER been disappointing. Everything is great though i prefer the chocolate molten cake. Most rave about the green tea tiramisu though.

The restaurant itself has an awesome ambience. The bathroom plays the BEST reggaeton in town! The manager has never disappointed, checking on all tables making sure you are satisified.
