Downtown in Little Italy, popular Italian restaurant— maybe too popular is it took us 1.5 hrs to get table. Wasn’t pleased with service in the beginning, but once we were seated, service was excellent. Everyone there seems to be Italian. Great portion sizes and very tasty. I had Farfalle di Salmone, delicious. Nice atmosphere connected to wine bar next door.

New York style pizza, flat crusted with fresh toppings. I liked it, but didn’t live up to the hype for me. I would definitely go back since its good pizza for cheap and I’d like to try all the toppings. I had white pizza with spinach and italian sausage. Parking on the street.

Perfect surfers breakfast destination. Patio seating is ideal during the summer. Check this place out if you’re near Huntington Pier. The omelettes are delish.

Theres nothing not to love about this place. This cafe located in the Crystal Cove Shopping Plaza is the best bakery/breakfast/lunch destination if you’re in the Newport area. Fresh ingredients, made to order, relaxed atmosphere. Order at cashier and take a number.

Breakfast with Latin flare. Yum Yum Yum! Great service, great food, across the street from Mission Beach. Chickenapplesauce sausages, pancakes to die for. The potatoes are really yummy, great combinations, would go back a hundred times.

Love the ramen here, try the thick cut noodles with any soup and fixings. Open very late, perfect for a midnight snack and if you crave traditional ramen.

Loved it. The Beef Tenderloin topped with gorgonzola with a generous cut of gratin was to die for. The creme brulee was also notable. Perfect ambiance for a quiet fancy dinner, beautiful view of downtown San Diego. Service was up to par as expected for fine dining!

Diamond in the rough all the way. Totally awesome weekend lunch buffet. Surprisingly decadent decor and terrific service! The place is cute, the food is actually very high quality and I would most definitely go back!

I liked this place! Related to the popular chain, Brigantine Seafood, this Latin American restaurant is a nice sit-down in 4S amidst all the fast-food joints in the area. The pork sandwich with sweet potato fries was surprisingly tasty. Reasons this did not get 4 stars is because the idea is a bit trite and portion sizes are on the small side. Good dining experience, just don’t know how it stands out among other restaurants (Elephant bar, El Torito, etc)
