Best Thai downtown

I really love Thai food, but have been really disappointed by the options in downtown. This restaurant is really under appreciated. it has great food, no wait, and decent prices.

Best Cupcakes arround

I made an effort to goto every cupcake place in the downtown area one fattening afternoon. And Yellow leaf nudges out the competition.
Compared to the other top contenders: They have a much greater variety of very unique cakes than say Cupcake Royal, they are moister than Chocolate Box, and fresher than Dalia.

Slow, Expensive and not good.

One of the most disappointing dinners I’ve had in a long time.

Good Food, Great Prices.

This place has lots of sandwiches and several daily soups. They are very low priced for a place downtown, and have two large dining area which are very different in atmosphere.

Pricey, Good Atmosphere, lousy food.

As others have mentioned the focus of the restaurant seems to be on atmosphere and wine selection. As a result the food seems to be lacking. There is something wrong when you send over $50 on a meal, don’t finish it, and leave hungry.

Here is the Beef!

The name says it all it’s a upscale mexican restaurant that prominently features beef. The food is good, reasonably priced, and I’ve never had to wait for a table. They also have a large tequila menu.

Vegetarian for anyone

The “No meat zone” poster outside might scare off most passers by. I gave it a try, and as I meat eater, I have to say I was very impressed.
They offer both Dim Sum and a normal menu. Their appetizers however are clearly their strong point.

This comes as part of various menu items. Leaves one wishing for some chicken or pork.
