The “No meat zone” poster outside might scare off most passers by. I gave it a try, and as I meat eater, I have to say I was very impressed. They offer both Dim Sum and a normal menu. Their appetizers however are clearly their strong point.

The name says it all it’s a upscale mexican restaurant that prominently features beef. The food is good, reasonably priced, and I’ve never had to wait for a table. They also have a large tequila menu.

As others have mentioned the focus of the restaurant seems to be on atmosphere and wine selection. As a result the food seems to be lacking. There is something wrong when you send over $50 on a meal, don’t finish it, and leave hungry.

This place has lots of sandwiches and several daily soups. They are very low priced for a place downtown, and have two large dining area which are very different in atmosphere.
