They have the absolute best mozzarella (Mootz)...
They have the absolute best mozzarella (Mootz) around this side of the Atlantic!! I could eat a full twist by myself that’s how good it is! Monday through Saturday you can try one of their special sandwiches of the day.
Monday: Ham & Mootz (My favorite…make sure you tell them to dunk the sandwich into the gravy)
Tuesday: Corn Beef & Mootz
Wednesday: Sausage & Mootz
Thursday: Roast Beef & Mootz (Again make sure to tell them to dunk the sandwich into the gravy)
Friday: Italian Tuna & Mootz (great for Lent)
Saturday: Roast Beef & Mootz (Again make sure to tell them to dunk the sandwich into the gravy)
This is one of those places you have to try before you die!! Trust me!! When it comes to food I will not steer you wrong!

I absolutely love this neighborhood joint....
I absolutely love this neighborhood joint. Hands down IL VAGABONDO has the BEST veal parmigiana
in NYC maybe even this side of the Atlantic. Oh, and the indoor bocce court is nice touch of nostalgia.

An excellent Italian restaurant in a nondescript minimall in Ramsey. Do not be deceived by the exterior. The interior of Pizzette is a comfortable one. The food there is GREAT. It is prepared by Chef/Owner Antonio. Antonio learned his craft in his homeland of La Bel’ Italia. You have to try the Pizza Margherita Deluxe (made with Mozzarella di Bufala…AMAZING). And the gnocchi are also to die for. If you love classic Italian than this is a place you have to try!

Absolutely amazing!! This place will knock your socks off!! If you want to try authentic Tuscan cuisine in America, this is the place you have to try. Cesare Casella is an extraordinary chef! Bravissimo!!

It was an awesome dining experience. The food was outstanding & the service was impeccable. I cannot wait to go back. If you are a lover of all things Italian, you have to try this place at least once. The salumi melted in my mouth. The neci were wild. The pasta was everything pasta should be. The guinea hen was out of this world. And the desserts…OH the desserts were heavenly, especially the pine nut & honey crostata. Molto Mario is a genius & my HERO!!

A very good local pizzeria! I would definitely tell you to at least try it out. I have eaten there on a few occasions & have yet to be disappointed. I really enjoyed the Pizza Margherita.

It's supposed to be the oldest officially...
It’s supposed to be the oldest officially recognized pizzeria in America (Gennaro Lombardi-1905). For that reason alone it’s worth a try. We tried a few pies. The best crust was on the Margherita. The best topping was the pancetta & ricotta impastata. It is very touristy & expensive, but if you are a true pizza lover, like myself, you have to try it at least once!
