Fantastic restaurant in the heart of the Old Port. The food is italian with almost entirely Maine ingredients. I had the Maple-glazed Beef Ravioli as a first course, a sautéed filét of Sole for the second, and three scoops of homemade Peach gelato for dessert. Expensive, but totally worth it!

Simply fantastic. This is modern restaurant hidden away under Hotel Mercer in Soho, started by legendary Chef-Entrepreneur Jean Georges Vongerichten. The food and service are stellar; I would recommend the ‘Mercer Burger,’ with hand-cut Pome Frites.

Another great New York restaurant, but in Midtown. The service was the high point of the evening, with every person in Serafina’s employ as gracious as ever. The food was also fantastic; I enjoyed the pasta bolgnese.

Very trendy restaurant, with refreshingly well deserved accolades for food and service. Not great for a quick bite, rather it is enjoyable over a more lingering evening. I had the Dover Sole with Butternut Squash Gnocchi and Tomato Noisette.

Mims for Lunch

Food was superb, especially the wine-rubbed chicken with vermont cheddar cheese. This could have been a five-star, if it were not for the just-acceptable service.

Dishes I tried:

Chicken sandwhich with chicken-vegetable soup
