Generally Dislike Mexican Food... This Changed My Mind
Tortas Mexico is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever tried. I generally dislike Mexican food, especially “Fast Food” but this is delicious! There is one in Montrose and one in Tujunga about 10 – 15 min away. The service is excellent, its quick, very friendly and decently priced. I suggest you try this place, family owned in the shopping center on Verdugo next to Vons. YUM! Hawaiian Torta is my favorite & the Pina Colada smoothie… but a close second is the Cubana Torta

Hawaiiana Torta
It’s like a taste explosion. I love Hawaiian pizza, but this is like a burst of flavors. It is quite filling. You can probably order an appetizer and share the other half with a friend. If you are a fan of mexican and like pineapple, ham, beans and their special Panela cheese (if you haven’t tried it you MUST) you’ll love it. Excellent service, very nice staff.
