Generous portions of well made food. My standard is the Athens Scramble – love spinach, cheese, eggs! The house potatoes are always good.

The coffee can be excellent, but I’ve had some that had obviously sat tooo long! The tea & italian soda selection is extensive.

Other family/friend favorites the mushroom burger, eggs benedict (forgot the name they have), salads/soups/sandwiches and we’ve never been disappointed in the ‘special’.

Downside – it’s very close to UCD and is across the street from the Farmers Market – so it can be crowded. It’s also lots of solid surfaces so noisy.

We eat here at least every two-three weeks for breakfast/brunch.

As we’re not huge crepe fans, we rarely get these but they are good. The fresh berry and chocolate are nice desserts.

Eggs scrambled with fresh spinach, feta and mushrooms. Served with house potatoes, toast or english muffin.

Get this often – very generous portion (usually take 1/2 home).

All the food here is well prepared, fresh taste. The house fried rice is light and flavorful. We’ve eaten here for a number of years and have never been disappointed.

The lunch specials are generous for one person. Starting with a bowl of soup. (We’ve had hot ’n sour, egg drop, a tomato veggie, veggie in broth all very good!) followed by the entree and choice of either fried or steamed rice on a plate.

Favorites – sauteed three ingredients, mongolian beef, prawns and snow peas, almond chicken, string beans and pork, ( an eggplant dish – spicy but do not remember the name – very good!) or lemon chicken.

Dinner is the same, a bit larger portions with a higher price tag. The Mu Shu, chowmein, egg rolls and pot stickers are all very good.

The worst item we’ve had their – the coke. It’s a bit on the syrupy side, so we stick to hot tea and water.

Service is excellent.

Shrimp, beef, chicken sauteed with fresh veggies – usually brocolli, zucchini, peppers – in a well flavored sauce. I’ve had it a few times were it was a bit oily but it’s always delicious and fresh tasting.
