Get the chadol begi because it’s the best thing on the menu—strips of raw beef that you fry on the skillet with garlic. Just be careful not to burn it. Their oyster kimchi is fantastic. The place is cramped, the, decor is weird and the waitresses are gruff old ajummas, so don’t expect to be pampered. But damn, the food is good.

Classic Korean-style Chinese food. Delicious jang-pong (spicy seafood noodles), jajangmyeon (noodles with black bean gravy), and gunmandu (potstickers). The lunch specials are not nearly as good as the noodles and dumplings. Service is mediocre, as with most Korean and Chinese restaurants. The interior is decorated with over-the-top red-and-gold Chinese murals of dragons and phoenixes—which makes it fun in a kitschy way.

Nasi Lemak is delicious (curry chicken with coconut rice and some curry veggies on the side). A little expensive for Asian food, but the curries are great and there are some pretty exotic selections. Service is not particularly friendly, and you might get your entree 5 minutes before your friend does, or vice versa. They make you pay cash so they can cheat on their taxes. Pretty decent Malaysian food overall though.

Great food, huge portions, and not too expensive. I had some kind of curry beef dish that was fantastic. The mango chicken, however, was basically just sweet-and-sour chicken with mangoes in it, it was too sweet. Service was friendly and reasonably fast.

The ribs are fantastic but everything seems a couple bucks more expensive than it should be. This isn’t a brewery, so they have the same selection of mass produced beers, which are like $5. But again, the baby back ribs are really, really good.

View is gorgeous, setting is romantic, cocktails are very good yet expensive, although part of what you’re paying for is the view. I wish they offered a full dinner menu in the lounge, though! The appetizer selection is pretty limited. Be prepared to wait in line for a while. It’s definitely worth it to come here at least once though.

Amazingly diverse pan-Asian menu. Lots of exotic things with seafood, curry, and rice steamed in bamboo tubes and coconuts, or fried in Korean stone bowls. The duck noodle soup is fantastic. Bubble tea is good, but I wish they could make it hot during the winter. Only complaints are that sometimes the food’s a bit salty, and the waiters rush you a little.

Blaring dance music, moose heads on the wall, and gay male model waiters made me feel like I was eating at Abercrombie & Fitch. The “Singapore Street Noodles” were dry and overcooked, and not particularly flavorful. The one redeeming quality was the cute little sake sets.
