Fish Cooked to Perfection
We stopped in on a rather busy night and the staff still managed to maintain PERFECT service. Durham is renown for so-so standards of service, but Blu is definitely an oasis in this desert. Our food was cooked perfectly and the ambience is so cool and soothing. There has been a dearth of good seafood here in the Triangle, and Blu definitely steps up to the plate and hits a homer out of the park.
Dishes I tried:
black grouper
This filet was parmesan-encrusted and pan-seared to perfection. The outer layer was crisp, yet this flaky fish was moist and juicy on the inside. It lay over a generous portion of risotto and zucchini noodles that were to die for. I will be returning for this delicious dish.
