Nice Ambience, Decent Food

Upon entering the restaurant the wait staff was very friendly. The restaurant gave off a very romantic and homey feel to it. I would recommend it for a date, but not so much a gathering for friends. I thought the women’s bathroom gave off a doll house vibe, it somewhat scared me. The food was not bad, but not good enough to make me want to go back again. If you’re in the mood for some comfort food and you want some place romantic check out Alki Homestead.

Dishes I tried:

Pan Fried Chicken

The entree came with 4 pieces of fried chicken, a side of mashed potatoes, and some blanched vegetables. It was definitely filling, I wasn’t able to finish it. You also get a salad and a soup with the meal. I really liked the mashed potatoes and the vegetables were good, but the chicken was only mediocre to me.

Affordable D'Lish Bakery

Alki Bakery offers foods from sandwiches to cookies . The atmosphere is great for some alone time to get your thoughts together or to have a conversation with a friend. The view of Alki Beach definitely adds to the mood of the bakery. I personally like them for their cookies.

Upbeat and Lively Pizzeria

I would give this place 3.5 stars, but the system only allows me to give 3. The service was definitely great, our waitress was amazingly nice and attentive. The food was reasonably priced, too bad it wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. I prefer the pizza right out of the oven where it’s hot and crispy, but our pizza was a little less than that. I would recommend this place as a good gathering place for friends. You can be as loud as you’d like and they’d be able to accommodate big groups as well.

Dishes I tried:

Half Pie of the Combo

The half pie was cut into 4 huge slices. If the pizza we received was hot out of the oven, it’d be perfect.

Good Restaurant to Have Fun With Friends

This is a good restaurant to chat over food with friends. You can choose to have a normal table or one with a grill in which you can grill the meat you order. There’s a variety of dishes there to order. Entree’s average out to be $14 or so.

Highly Decorative and Different Restaurant

I haven’t been to other Moroccan Restaurants, but this was highly decorated even the walls. It was very pretty and dark inside. You get to eat with your hands, I wouldn’t say the food is too great though. Best of all my guy friends got to enjoy watching the belly dancer while they ate.

Expensive Fresh Sushi Joint

If you want fresh, I Love Sushi is a good place. But if you’re low on the muula I would stay away. It’s a bit pricey, although I do believe there’s lunch specials.

An Italian Restaurant

I stopped by Lombardi’s on a Saturday, it was somewhat busy. I got one of those special deals $30 for 3 dishes..something like that. I wouldn’t say it’s worth it, I’ve had better such as Palisades. Their $30 for 3 courses was well worth it. I would pick Olive Garden over Lombardi’s.

Nijo..another Sushi Joint

The atmosphere was nice, I went for dinner on a Friday. It was pretty packed. I thought the food was only average, it didn’t stand out much to me. I wouldn’t really recommend it.

Americanized Luau Themed Restaurant

If you want a Luau Themed restaurant with a water view, you should go to Bamboo Bar & Grill. The food is just alright, the service could have been better. I ordered an entree, but the waiter failed to give me the extra dishes that came with my entree such as a salad or soup. You might say I’m awfully critical of this restaurant, but I don’t feel like it had much to offer. The decor didn’t feel so welcoming, it felt like they grabbed a whole bunch of decorations from the display store and made into a Luau Themed place. The taste of the food was only soso to me, I would prefer Red Robin. And if you want to have conversation, avoid the place…it gets awfully loud. On a positive note it’s comparable with other Luau Themed Restaurants around Seattle as I haven’t seen any great ones yet.

Dishes I tried:

Prawn and Chips

The chips where crispy as were the prawns, but the prawns lacked flavor.
