Best Pho in Mountain View
Not the best pho I’ve ever had, but it’s good stuff compared to the other pho shops in the area. Large so you never have to wait. It’s authentic so don’t expect a spotless interior.

It’s the normal pho soup, without any meat added to it. I always feel like pho meat is suspect, so I like having this option. My vegetarian friends get the #20, which is a vegetarian broth with no meat in it.

Lychee drink
It was like they just poured a can of lychees into a glass of ice. The juice was clear (like syrup) and there were about 7 whole lychees in it (yay!). Delicious, but I wasn’t sure whether I was drinking pure sugar.

It's a chain, what else can you expect?
The food is reliable, and the ambience is good. Who could complain about their prices when you get such huge portions? It’s a no-brainer place for birthday celebrations, and the menu is so extensive that everyone in the party will be able to find something. Eat at a bar table if you’re having a casual chat with a friend and don’t want to wait in long lines.
Our service on New Years Day was underwhelming. Can’t blame ‘em, but can’t justify a good tip either.

Chicken Marsala and Mushrooms
I always get this when I come to Cheesecake, cuz it’s satisfying without being too heavy. Served on a bed of bowtie pasta, but unlike the Farfalle with Chicken (in cream sauce) on the Pasta page, this dish’s wine sauce that won’t give you a heart attack.
