It’s cart food at its best. Winner of the past Vendy Awards for the best food cart in NYC. For $4 you can get a huge serving of either chicken over rice with a salad or lamb over rice with a salad. Its cheap, but its definitely not cheap on flavor thats for sure. It beats all the other Middle Eastern food carts in Manhattan. Its a must try for everyone!

For a good cheap eat in between classes this is the place to go. The Jamaican patties are delicious especially the Curry Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and normal Chicken. Skip on the Calaloo patty, it lacks a bit of flavor. If you’re in the mood for a carb binge go for a Jamaican patty with cheese wrapped in Coco bread. Coco bread is AMAZING. Its like a tastey fluffy bread. This delicious bite can be bought for the cost of under $4.00. Patties are less then $2.00. Also be sure to try the Ting soda, its like a sweet grapefruity soda.

The service is really slow, but the bubble teas are amazing there! The cafe is open really late, probably around 2-3AMish. I usually order the Lychee Black Tea with Nata de Coco. Its absolutely refreshing and delicious. The only con is that for bubble tea, its a little more pricier averaging about $4-5 a beverage. Also, try the Condensed Milk Toast. Its to die for. If you are a sugar fiend, its perfect for you. Its a thick piece of toast drowning in rich butter and sweet condensed milk.

I love the pizza at this place. Its the first pizza shop in America, or so I learned courtesy of the Food Channel. Anyway, if you’re into floppy pizza with super fresh ingredients, Lombardi’s is the way to go. I usually order sausage and ricotta on the pizza. Its great! The mozzarella is so fresh and the tomato sauce is delish as well. Pizza is a little expensive and doesn’t sell by the slice. Be sure to bring cash with you because they do NOT take credit cards.

Awesome. Rice to Riches is such a unique concept for dessert. I looooove loooove loooooove the Mascarpone rice pudding and the Dulce de Leche one as well. Desserts are kinda expensive, but the reusable tupperware container to go w/ it makes up for it. I probably own over 15 of those bowls. Also the atmosphere in the rice pudding shop is really fun. Its got a futuristic and colorful appeal to it. Its worth a try for sure!

Great restaurant! I don’t even know where to begin. I went there for lunch a few weeks ago and enjoyed myself thoroughly. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant was typical of the Meat Packing District area. Very flashy modern decor with every waiter and waitress extremely attractive. Our waitress was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful in suggesting orders and was not stuck up or snobby as most restaurants are in that are of NYC. The food was to die for. I split a plate of sushi with my parents as an appetizer. We had a tuna roll, salmon and avocado roll, and an eel with avocado roll. The eel with the avocado was my favorite. Completely unique in comparison to the other eel and avocado rolls that I had. It had a delicate crunch, which was a nice compliment to that roll. For lunch, I ordered the Kobe beef bento box. It was quite the large serving. The bento box was of a higher class. The kobe beef was served with a salad, miso clam soup, seafood tempura with a creme fraiche sauce instead of the regular dipping sauce, and 6 pieces of sashimi and 3 pieces of sushi. The food was to die for. I was incredibly stuffed, but my mom insisted on trying desserts. We had some kind of bread pudding, which was alright. It was plated like a deconstructed bread pudding w/ the bread crumbles on the side. We also ordered some hazelnut cake which was fantastic. The sides to it were a pomegranite gelee and a very tart green apple. It was definitely an interesting dessert and I’d definitely order it again. I also ordered the White lily cocktail. I dont even know what was in it. But it was absolutely delicious. Sweet, refreshing, and without the taste of alcohol. Its a must order for sure. Morimoto was a great experience, and I’ll be sure to return another time!
