Home cooking at low prices
This hole-in-the-wall cafe offers some great homemade meals at low prices. This is the type of neighborhood cafe where everyone knows everyone and the mashed potatoes aren’t from a box. Specials run daily and fresh pie is available for dessert. Particularly recommend the meat loaf special and the cheeseburger and chili special for under $6.

Delicious Food
his is not your typical Fish, Chop or Steak House. Kincaid’s offer a cozy, romantic experience. Gas fireplaces, candlelite tables in a rich wood setting. The staff has always been polite and courteous. The King Crab and Artichoke Dip appetizer is a must to start off. Steaks have always been cooked to perfection. Good size portions of food for the moderate prices.

Amazing food and superb service
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service and atmosphere and you get a lot of food for your money. I had to box the leftovers both times I’ve been there.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a romantic, affordable date restaurant or is just looking for something new. It is NOT like other Axel’s in the Twin Cities—much more classy than the others.
Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Good prices
Cons: Can be a little tricky to find

They want your heart, not your money
This is a Turkish restaurant owned by a husband and wife who take all of the orders and make all of the food themselves. The food is delicious and unique and the prices are absolutely unbeatable. I recommend trying their specials and the baklava.
Note: They don’t take credit cards so remember to bring cash or check.

One of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities
Heartland is a great restaurant for a special occasion. The food is delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked questions about food and wine recommendations. I will definitely be back, and have highly recommended Heartland to many people
Pros: Unique menu, interesting ingredients and combinations
Cons: Not much; one appetizer (trout gravlax) was tasty yet miniscule

Great place to sit back and relax with a drink and food
This place is a great place to grab a drink and food or just to out with your friends and or co-workers. The atmosphere is great, the food was good and the drinks are not so bad either. I most definitely love the entertainment, especially the dueling Pianist!

amazing pizza
My friend and I had never had Pizza Luce before but decided to try out the St. Paul location while we were in the area. The location was off the beaten path but we found that appealing, as there was less traffic and more available street parking, if the lot were to be full. We built our own pizza and it was the most delicious pizza we had ever tasted—not greasy in the least, with generous portions of crunchy, fresh vegetables. The service was warm without being cloying or over attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We can’t wait to try out other varieties from this amazing pizza place! You’ll never want to go back to the standard domino’s, pizza hut, etc.
Pros: great pizza, wide variety, nice atmosphere, great service

Coffee With a Kids Corner!
Some people may find a “kids corner” a turn off for a coffee shop…I say THANK YOU! Caribou in Grand Avenue has a cute little kids corner with a little table, bear chairs, a chalkboard and some toys. Please share your idea with other Caribou coffee shops!
My only recommendation is that they offer a larger kids menu. My kids love to order “coffee” – but I don’t always like paying almost $4 for a cold non-coffee drink. I’d love to see smaller sizes available for a lower cost.
PROS: great coffee, neat ideas
CONS: price

Brewberrys is the Best!
Brewery is a local, neighborhood coffee shop. It is a wonderful place to spend time. The employees are quite friendly and there is a very home-like feel in the store. Food is served during lunch (sandwiches, etc.) and coffee is served all day long. Their drinks are prepared perfectly, with special touches like sprinkles in the hot chocolate. I love it
