I’ve lived on the NorthShore my entire life, and have dinned in many restaurants, especially Japanese. Please don’t be fooled by the possitive reviews about Fujiyama (a lot of times owners write them themselves)….the restaurant has only one good thing about it, the location. The food is average at best….but I would personally have no problem with the food if the service made up for it. Irene is one of the owners, and she works as a server, she is the most unpleasant and rude individual I have ever met in my life. She is plain nasty to her customers, and does not really care for return business. They DO NOT DO CARY-OUT!!! Please do yourself a favor and skip this little, not special at all, and overall unpleasant experience of dinning here. After my experience with the owner and the restaurant, I made sure to contact all my friends, family, and my client-base to warn them about this place.
