Super fresh fish at great prices (= best for take-out because of tiny dining space and lack of ambience). The rolls are only ok… go for the pokie sashimi (hamachi & albacore tuna are the best) and the chirashi bowl.

Awesome xiaolongbao (Shanghainese dumplings) and yummy dishes all round at very reasonable prices. We love this place and would go a lot more often if we lived closer.

The menu doesn’t have as many options as I’d like but the prices are reasonable when you look at the portions. The 2 of us shared a tomato soup, beef carpaccio, moules w/frittes, paperdelle (slow cooked lamb with flat thick pasta with feta cheese, pine nuts & olives) & roasted pork sirloin for only $101 before tip. We ended up taking home some food and would have been extremely content with just the moules and the paperdelle.

This restaurant is only a couple months old and every time we go pass when we shop at Ranch, it’s always filled with customers. We shared 1 Tonkatsu Ramen, grilled chicken gristle, grilled chicken gizzard, grilled torikawa (chicken skin) and grilled salmon for about $25 with tip. The food was decent but a tad pricey. We’ll be back but will probably skip the grilled chicken gizzard and scallop.
