Best Asian Bistro
I have always found Liu Liu’s food to be outstanding, especially since the change in ownership/management this past year. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the food is filled with fresh veggies, and I love their 7 grain rice. They also have a very nice bar. It’s the whole package, business and pleasure.
I’m a realtor. When I have a client who is new to the area I always take them here. As silly as it sounds it often is a deal closer for the area. People eat here and think okay, good asian food, I can live here.
My kids also love Liu Liu’s for it’s great kid friendly finger food and wonton soup. Try the chicken teriyaki on a stick. My kids love that and it is unique.
Dishes I tried:
Wonton Soup
Very light not too salty. Hits the spot on a rainy day.
Chicken egg rolls
OMG. These are my favoite eggrolls in the area. I’m not sure but I would not be surprise if they were made in house. Ask for extra duck sauce and house mustard.
Teriyaki chicken on a stick
My kids love this. It is their favorite thing on the menu. Tender white meat chiken speared and dredged through a light breading, probably cornstarch and a rice flour and deep fried. Served with dumpling sauce.
stir fried egg noodles and veggies
This is my favorite thing on the menu. It’s basically a Lo Mein. The chef does not pore on the soy sauce or oil. The vegies still have their crunch and the noodles are light.
General Tso's Chicken
This is my husbands favorite dish. He asks for it with white meat only, which they do happily. I’ve tasted it. It has a nice rich sauce with lots of dried peppers. Moderately spicy.
