This establishment is one of two Indian restaurants currently on the scene in Asheville. The spices at Mela’s are exceptional, and the service is top notch. I prefer Mela’s over the other Indian restaurant due to location (Mela’s is located in downtown Asheville) and ambiance (it makes me feel that I’m in a authentic Indian restaurant), and of course, not to forget the quality of food. I’ve eaten at Mela’s more times over the past three years than I can remember…and never a bad experience!!
