Best Fruit Tart in Downtown
I’ve gone here for the many different cakes for celebrations. The cakes are not too sweet although they are smaller. I’ve also tried the other pastries and all are excellent; get there early in the morning for fresh croissants.
But, I love coming here for the fruit tarts. Your best bet is to order ahead, so call the bakery ahead of time. They come in different sizes, so you can order based on the number of people eating. You’ll pay around 25-35, so its not cheap, but its definitely worth the money.
Parking is easy and they’ll validate with purchase for you.

Great place for Hawaiian Food
I’ve eaten here for both breakfast and lunch.
For breakfast, they have French Toast for $4.95; pretty hard price to beat. No bacon; but they have portuguese sausage, spam, or corned beef.
For lunch, I like the Aloha Bowl (mix of chicken and beef) or the Chicken Salad. But, they also have daily specials; my friends usually order the BBQ ribs.
Prices are very reasonable.

Great price, great taste. Also enjoy the macaroni salad with this.

Always a great experience
Whenever I need to have a quick lunch, no matter how busy they are, I can always count on getting in and out of Curry House within 30-45 minutes. I love the Tofu Ground Chicken Curry! And I always have to have the Iced Green Tea. When I need an extra kick, I go for the Iced Coffee, unsweetened.

Tofu Ground Chicken
Love the ground chicken and tofu with the spicy chutney…

Excellent Sushi near Little Tokyo
What an excellent place for sushi!
We went there for lunch. We ordered omokase and we were treated to maguro, toro, hamachi, aji(spanish mackeral), sake(salmon), and tamago(egg). But the menu doesn’t have too many non-traditional items like dragon rolls. If you like the more modern sushi rolls, this might not be the place for you.
A couple of tips; enter on 2nd St. is easiest and look on your right hand side after passing “Megatoys”. Also, get there early since the kitchen closes at 2:00 PM.
Highly recommended for traditional sushi.

Melted in my mouth…..
