Very Good Food and Service
Nice little restaurant in Bethel Park, service was great and the food was awesome. Casual decor, wide variety of menu items was quite a surprise fine restaurant.
Dishes I tried:
Mediterranean Chicken
Tender chicken breast that was charbroiled. It was covered with one red pepper and spinach, was to be covered with provolone cheese but I requested no cheese. Was very delicious, but the pepper did not look like it had been grilled as described in the menu. The sides were a tossed salad, had plenty of spring mix and head lettuce, one grape tomato, and a couple olives, the other side was mashed sweet potatoes, which I wouldn’t recommend, they were very dry and hard, felt like they had been microwaved, and there was an extra charge for them and they were not worth 50 cents more.

Wonderful Gem in Mt. Lebanon
Understated elegance is the decor of this adorable restaurant in the heart of Mt. Lebanon’s business district. Wide variety of interesting menu choices at reasonable prices for such quality. Service is prompt and unobtrusive.
Dishes I tried:
Omelet
Fluffy omelet stuffed with bacon, wild mushrooms, creamy boursin cheese which added a rich taste to the eggs, home fries that were just crispy enough and soft and warm on the inside, delicious toast which was generously buttered all the way to the end of the bread. A wonderful meal.

American Food
Nice place, food was ok, service was just ok. I think the server was new and was a little confused.
Dishes I tried:
9 oz HOUSE SIRLOIN
Steak was chewy, was overcooked. I had also ordered chili, which was good, but didn’t come with the onions on it that I ordered. Wasn’t my favorite meal this month.

Soup, Salad and Bread Sticks for Lunch!
Favorite spot for lunch. Can’t beat the soup, salad and bread sticks. I always ask for the wedding soup, you have to ask because it isn’t on the menu. It is not salty, just right. Salad is fresh, crisp. And the breadsticks are soft, garlicky and good.

Soups are great, my favorite is the wedding, followed by the zuppa tuscano…and who doesn’t love salad. And I can’t stay away from the breadsticks…very yummy.

Just love this place for a casual get together and a quick bite to eat. The burgers are good and the fries and hot and tasty.

Bleu Ribbon Burger
Love the bleu cheese on this burger, the juicy burger…yum, the crisp bun . Just wonderful. They know their burgers.

Great Food
Came here to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. Since it had snowed a lot that day, it wasn’t crowded so we got a table right away which was a pleasant surprise. Our server was very nice. It is a little dark in the restaurant but the food is so good.

BUFFALO BLASTS®
These were amazing!!! I was surprised by the punch in these large bites of blissful buffalo stuff. Don’t really know what was in them, but they were awesome, highly recommend them!

Great Food and Beer
This is a new restaurant in the South Side works. It has two rooms, and large beer garden and a dining room. The rooms are plainly decorated. They brew German beer here, have several available year long and have monthly special beers. Beer was great. The menu offers many German favorites and are quite tasty. There is entertainment in the Beer Garden, seems like a lot of fun, we’ll sit there next time. There is also an outdoor seating area overlooking the river, was quite warm considering how cold it was.
Dishes I tried:
Sauerbraten
Beef was very tender, large portion. Came with a choice of sides, I selected German potato salad and red apple sauerkraut…fabulous meal. I also ordered sauerkraut balls, tasty bites of sauerkraut and corned beef, fried and served with nice mustard. Would have been better as an appetizer, but did come with my meal. THe service was a little slow, our server was working in two rooms, so wasn’t available enough.

Great Happy Hour, Football Game Place
This place is casual, but has great food! They had great specials for the game. Service friendly, really awesome!
Dishes I tried:
Compact Buckett
To start, we had an sampler appetizer: fried pickles, mozzerella sticks, soft pretzels, and onion rings- very crispy, hot and good. Came with an assortment of dipping sauces. For the main meal, had the Compact Bucket of wings- plenty left over for lunch this week—two flavors- chipotle dust and Louisiana Lickers. Very good wings.

Delicious Sushi and Asian food
Large variety of sushi, very good. And a huge amount of chinese and other asian foods. The meats were tender, the breaded items were lightly breaded. A large quantity of seafood is available: crab legs, crawfish, frog’s legs, half crabs…disappointed in the beef dishes, the beef was tough. A nice assortment of desserts. And they do give warm towels to clean up with after your meal, they just brought them too soon. Servers were polite and cleaned up plates promptly.
