Almost a five! Seriously. Great Mexican food, awesome environment. This is the Mexican restaurant where we take out of town guests when they visit.
My favorite: The Spicy Barbacoa Burrito… spicy! Can you say jalepeno sauce?
I give it a four instead of five for a couple of reasons: 1. Wait staff is a little slower than I typically experience at a five. 2. I gotta save the five for Garduno’s in New Mexico/Las Vegas!

This one is close to a four, but the lack of a place to really sit down lowers it to a three. Of course I compare it to the Hermitage TN Famous Daves which rocks…
Since the Denver area Famous Daves suck, I’m going to get meat from Brothers and add Famous Daves sauce at home!

Okay. That’s about it for this one. Definitely not as good as I remembered it 10 years ago.
It was primetime and no one was there. Should have been a hint of things to come. Food was non-inspiring and service was okay. Salsa was… well, that best describes it… it was.
Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant

EXCELLENT!
We went to Rio Grande the night of the 2007 Rockies vs Phillies playoff game. It was very busy but we got in quick and were well attended to by Doug our server.
The food was amazing… from the salsa all the way down to the en tree’s.
There’s lots of Mexican choices in the Denver area… we’ll go here again and again!

Burrito de Polla
While not the best burrito I’ve ever had as part of the total package at Rio this was an excellent meal. I had the green chili sauce over it and the combo was great. I highly recommend it.

Corned Beef Hash & Eggs
If you like corned beef hash with breakfast this is a great dish to order. The corned beef hash is out of a can, but the whole combination is a great meal.

Cinzzetti's Italian Market

Fazzolis Buffet
Maybe it’s just me, or the night we went, but my first experience here was just okay. The food was pretty high priced and the taste was not that great. Perhaps because it was a buffet, but not much of what I ate had full and robust taste or texture. I felt like I was at a Fazzoli’s buffet with hyped up ambiance.

All you can eat buffet
Great variety, but the food quality was not that great. Most was dry or saturated and tastes did not stand out across different dishes.

Have not been to Baja in a while, but used to go once a week. You’ll know it’s good the moment you pull up around lunch time and have to find a place to park.
Tacos and burritos are the primary menu… mix and match… variety of tortilla size and flavor choices make it even more a creation of your own. Everyone I usually went with got something different. Which I think speaks to the diversity of what you can order and the wide range of what people like. Try it out! You too will love Baja Burrito!

Pepperoni Calzone
This is a great low key lunch spot near downtown. It has a New York deli smell and feel from the moment you walk in. The only thing missing was the kitchen staff yelling at each other.

Pepperoni Calzone
Well, don’t go ordering a Calzone here if you are on a meat restricted diet. It was pepperoni full and each bite has plenty. The marinara was a little runny for me and lacked some meat (maybe a good thing since the Calzone had plenty). I’m not a big garlic person and they definitely had some. But I’ll go back and try their deli sandwiches.
Golden Coast Chinese Restaurant

Great Buffet
After a really bad first experience with Chinese food I’m very selective about where I eat and what I get. Golden Coast is great because it is a buffet and it’s a great buffet. All the standards, lots of it, and enough space to keep things moving. It’s all you can eat and it’s really good.

Lunch Buffet
Plenty of very good food. Plenty of space so you are not all crowded into the dining or serving area. Not too crowded. Price is more than reasonable for quality and quantity of selection.
