New Bar set for Boulder

What an incredible surprise when we ate at Black Cat last night for the first time. The food had novel flavors without being trendy or fussy. We did the 5-course sampler with wine paired to the course. It started out with a delicious seafood terrine and each course had a new, incredible flavor. The wine pairings were also very interesting.

Service was great also.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Boulder. More interesting even than Frasca and the Kitchen.

Crispy skin, cooked perfectly without being too rare/chewy. Awesome “fried rice” with wild rice, egg, nuts and just a hint of curry.
