The decor in this restaurant is truly something worth looking at. They really went the extra mile. The food is pretty good, and is extraordinarily creative. I would definitely suggest getting some type of skewer because they light it on fire with rum and it looks really cool. The banana kofta is a favorite of mine. The naan is too thin and hard, but is not bad. The presentation is very nice for everything. The soups are novel and good. I love the saffron green tea. They do a good job on all the conventional indian dishes, but why would you want to go that way when there is so much else to choose from? I also really enjoyed the “create your own” menu not only because it is really creative, but also because the kali mirch(black pepper) sauce I tried came with all different kinds of vegetables including lotus root, and was nice and spicy, just the way I like it. The sauces are very clean without a lot of grease and still very flavorful. My husband and mother-in-law didnt enjoy it quite as much and they do have a more sensitive palate than my own, however. I would add though, that there are very few people who are that discriminating.
