I had dinner here with my auntie as she told...
I had dinner here with my auntie as she told me it is one of the better Chinese restaurants south of SGV. She was right. They are known for their dim-sum sadly we were too late, nevertheless, the food was good, service was great and they were friendly.
The restaurant is pretty big, with lots of round tables. Ample parking, it is in a plaza shared with Sam Woo, but dine here at China Garden not there….
We didn’t wait long, probably 5 minutes as there were only two of us.
Dishes I tried:
Egg plant in Szechuan Sauce
hhhm I love eggplants and this one is drowned in their Szechuan Sauce but it’s delicious.
Pan Fried Noodles with Beef
Also very tasty, just the perfect crunchiness with the sauces on top.
Kangkong
I love water spinach and theirs were seasoned and steamed perfectly.

02/23/2009Yeah as far as Irvine goes, this is pretty much it. There is new chinese plaza called Diamond Jamboree with some new restaurants but I think China Garden’s dim sum is better.
