"I'm taking eating to the next level"

Kosher Pescatarian. I don’t each any chicken or meat, but I will eat fish as long as it has fins and scales. I love eggs and cheese way to much to be a vegan.

Panera Bread

Great place for a business meeting

fast and friendly service with decent sized portions and reasonably priced. free wi-fi is a big draw especially if you get one of the bigger tables near an outlet. tipping is not allowed…imagine that?!

Cafe Merlot

May 20, 2008 Link

a hidden treasure in san diego

for a delightful afternoon, stop by the bernardo winery. browse the lovely shops, then sit down and relax at cafe merlot. rick and tony, the owners, will make you feel right at home, their home that is! chef daniel and his crew will prepare a mouth watering feast for you. the sandwiches, although somewhat pricey, are huge, and quality is never compromised. for a really fun evening, sign up for cooking classes there. i’m looking forward to the barbeque/micro beer class coming up.

St Tropez Bakery & Bistro

May 20, 2008 Link

lovely bistro in 4s

if you are sick of meeting people at starbucks and having the immediate world in your business, st tropez bakery and bistro is the perfect place for you. the provence panini with a side salad was plentiful and tasty. the asian salad dressing wasn’t fab, but there was no problem getting something else. service is fair to partly cloudly, but that wouldn’t stop me from going back.

The Melting Pot

May 13, 2008 Link

settle in for a three hour feast. make sure...

settle in for a three hour feast. make sure you are with people you like and that you have an empty stomach when you arrive. i highly recommend the classic cheese fondue, spinach salad and coq au vin cooking style for the entree. The milk chocolate fondue with a shot of your favorite liquor is the icing on the cake. Geoff and Jonathan are the best waiters in the house.

Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill

Jan 10, 2008 Link

Rubio's Rocks!

I ate a fabulous Mahi Mahi burrito 3 hours ago and I’m still stuffed. It’s fresh..it’s filling…it’s healthy. What’s more is that you can get whole wheat tortillas. The salsa selections are excellent, especially the salsa verde. The worst part is the parking. Sometimes the tables are messy, but what the heck, you don’t eat off of the anyway!

Chevy's Fresh Mex

Jan 4, 2008 Link

Local Tex Mex

Big bang for the buck.
Great margaritas.
Mediocre service.
Ask for tortilla dough so you can play with it while you are waiting way too long for your food.
Fun place to go for a birthday.
