Always "On"!
One of the more well know Korean style Chinese restaurants in the Chicago area, they are known for their homemade noodle dishes. On weekdays at noon, their chef does a live noodle making show that always draws a crowd. I’ve been coming to this restaurant frequently since 1995 and the quality of the food is always great. Haven’t yet had an “off” experience. I especially love their wings!
Dishes I tried:
Yu's Chicken Wings
Just the right balance of crispiness and spices. I can eat a whole plate by myself!
Ja Jang Myun
The sauce was just OK, but the noodles were great!
Squid with Garlic sauce
I wish the batter was crispier but the garlic sauce is really good. I love the sweet, salty and spicy mix.
Spicy Noodle Platter
This is my most favorite noodle dish at Yu’s. I always ask them to make it extra spicy for me.

Bad Experience
I know a lot of people had great experiences at Reza’s but I just have to share mine. I went with a big group of friends (12 of us) and we had really bad service. On top of that all of our food were lukewarm. I had heard a lot of great things about this place so I was very disappointed.

America's Oldest Restaurant
America’s oldest running restaurant since 1826, Union Oyster House is a must go at least once when in Boston. Sure you can have better seafood at other restaurants, but nothing can beat eating at this historic place – where else can you sit at an oyster bar that Daniel Webster ate at regularly?!?
Dishes I tried:
Oyster House Clam Chowder
Creamy and full of fresh clams!
Raw Oysters
Very very fresh and flavorful. I loved their horseradish sauce that complemented the oysters very well.
Mussels - Basque Style
These were tasty too but it was a little sandy for me…

Best Dim Sum in Chicago
It’s not the best Dim Sum I’ve ever had, but they do have the best Dim Sum in the Chicago area. I love the fact that the restaurant appears clean (not like other Chinese restaurants in Chinatown) but the food is pricey. If you come on a weekend, expect to wait a while for a table. My family loves coming here for dinner too.

Just OK
I haven’t been here for about 10 years but the quality of the food is still not that great. They do have a good variety to choose from though. The only thing I like about this place is that you grill your food over hot coal and not the traditional gas flame. It gives the kalbi a different flavor.

Authentic Italian Seafood
The line was long, the dining room was small but the food was definitely worth the trouble. I went to this restaurant in Boston’s “Little Italy” at 4:30PM and the line was out the door! The cozy dining room and open kitchen makes you feel like you are eating at someone’s home. Definitely worth the wait. Make sure to check out the daily specials on the board.
Dishes I tried:
Fried Calamari
The squid was fresh and the flavored batter was light and tasty. They also fried up some marinated hot peppers. Never had that before but it was really good.
Liguine with Lobster, Clams and Mussels
Lots of garlic and lots of seafood. Definitely one of the best linguine dishes I’ve ever had!
