Great Ambiance
I really like the idea of this place. The tapas style dining may seem odd or weird, but works out well, especially if you want to try a bunch of things. We split 4 items between 2 people and it was plenty of food without feeling gorged or hungry when we left.
The wine menu was amazing and we loved how you could get different sizes (2,4, or 6 ozs) so you could taste a bunch.
Dishes I tried:
the american cheese board
fideos
angel hair pasta tossed with shrimp, white whine and roasted garlic
spanish style thin crust pizza
fresh tomato and mozzerella
braised short ribs
with quinoa and pan roasted root veggies

Absolutely Fabulous!
A friend got me hooked on this chain and I’m so glad! Their food is way beyond the average Asian Fusion and the staff is all so knowledgeable and well trained.
Wine Trios are beautifully presented on a twig-like rack, and the portions are pretty well sized. (I suggest Cakebread and J.Lohr where you can get them!).
Don’t leave without the lettuce wraps!

One Stop Shop!
I’ve only been here for dinner (2x) but want to try their breakfast too. They give you a ton of food for the value, and they could charge alot more for just the atmosphere. Every night is a different special, and they have weekend dj nights. Bar area is seperate from regular diner seating, so if you’d rather not mingle with the “youngsters,” you’re safe. The ambiance is very retro ‘50s/Jetsons! So cool and exactly the diner you’ve always dreamed of….
For me, it’s great for any meal, plus you can relax with a glass of my personal favorite, J.Lohr Riesling!
Dishes I tried:
St. Louis Burger
*Grilled onions, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese with French fries
*JLohr Riesling
Key Lime Tart
SO DELICIOUS!!! Get two!

The Alphabet City Avant-Garde eats here...
Any true Rent fan must eat here at least once in their life…
I know it probably is nothing like what it was when Jonathan Larson ate here and wrote RENT, but from the cool accents, quarky wait staff, and heuvos rancheros, you’ll get a pretty good idea of what life might be like…
(Plus the food rocks! You get a mimosa with your breakfast! The coffee is excellent as well!).

My Favorite!!!
This place has been a favorite of mine since I was about 14 years old. A great family restaurant that our family has been going to for around 11 years now. The food is GREAT and extremely consistant, as well as inexpensive! It’s BYOB but you can pick up a bottle at the A&P liqours behind it.
I had my wedding rehearsal here and they were wonderful about it and we got a TON of food! We brought our own wine and beer and they set up a little bar for us! So nice to sit around big round tables and have Italian together!
Dishes I tried:
Red Clam Sauce with Linguine
You’ll definately be bringing it home as a 2nd meal!
