Great Food. Slow Ordering
The food is consistently great here, but the ordering process seems to lack some efficiencies. For example, the chalkboard with the breakfast menu isn’t visible from the cash registers so weary customers are forced to remember their order before sipping their morning coffee. That’s a problem.
Dishes I tried:
Breakfast Burrito
The breakfast burrito at the New French Bakery is quite possibly the best breakfast burrito served at any restaurant in the Twin Cities.

Great Late Night Happy Hours
Maxwell’s is a great place to hit on a Thursday night if you’re into good drink deals and chicken wings near downtown Minneapolis. And who isn’t?
Dishes I tried:
Chicken Wings
Delicious as usual. And only $0.20 a piece. A traditional buffalo wing recipe without celery getting in the way.

Upscale Comfort Food
112 Eatery is a small restaurant tucked into the warehouse district with excellent takes on comfort food.
Dishes I tried:
Cheeseburger
The 112’s cheeseburger has a couple twists that make it both delicious and memorable. First, it has a toasted English muffin for a bun, adding some fun texture to the sandwich. The burger itself is a loosely packed patty with onions. And the kicker: the cheese used is hot gooey brie. Put that together, and you have one awesome cheeseburger. It may take a year off your life, but it’s worth it.
Prawns
Four prawns served tempura style with a spicy mayo. Bite after bite of awesomeness.
