fattiusthebear "because a bear's gotta eat well"

I like to eat pretty much all kinds of food. Meat is the best, and then the breads. Pork is the best type of meat, even if it is ridiculously fatty (that is why it is so good).

could break anyone on atkin's

Peking Restaurant is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant, and one of my favorite restaurants overall. No one should underestimate this place. It may be small and unassuming, it may be kind of dirty looking inside, but trust me, it is quality. The most recent time I went, there was no one eating when we entered. This is a shame because this place is so good. At least that means our food came fast.

The menu also makes in clear what the power dishes are. On the front page are the house specials. The first few dishes are the most popular. The Lu-ee roll is the very first thing you see on the menu. And for good reason, since it is awesome.

Later on, some people started coming in. The owner seemed to know most of the people that came in, so I assume that they are regulars or something. That’s probably because this place is so delicious that you keep going back. There was a couple that came in, and they ordered at least 4 dishes. They did exactly what we did. Overorder. That way you have leftovers and can continue the tastiness past dinner. You can also buy some dumplings frozen if you want to cook them at home.

Anyone who lives nearby who doesn’t try this place is a fool in my opinion. If I had a last meal, many of the dishes would come from this restaurant. All they need is BBQ ribs, and I am set. =D

Anyone who tries this will instantly love it. Even if you don’t like beef or Chinese food you will. You will never want to go on any diet forbidding you to eat carbs, because then you know you will be missing out on a dish like this.

A super tasty omelette, though not for the faint of heart. It is quite greasy, but worth the health cost. It has a reasonable amount of shrimp in it.

Comes with ten I believe, and they are a crispy delight. Mmmmm.

A good skin to meat ratio. The dumpling skin is also excellent. It has enough substance to add to the dumpling, yet not overwhelm the meat inside.

super omelettes!

This restaurant definitely knows how to do a good breakfast. They offer a wide variety of breakfast foods, such as oatmeal, and all the usual stuff, but done well and with lots of specialized dishes. They have some non-breakfast stuff, but I doubt anyone cares about it. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality food you get.

The omelettes here are pretty wondrous compared to many other omelettes I have had. They are super fluffy, and the mixture of goodies in the egg is perfect. It’s not one of those lame omelettes where they just throw a fluffy egg on top of the goods. I loved how you could upgrade the toast for pancakes. For only $1.50, I think its a good deal. I’d definitely go back and try all the omelettes and other egg-y delights.

One of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. All the stuff inside, such as the chorizo, made it excellent. The sour cream on top and the salsa you can put made it rich and even better. It’s also huge and the everything is integrated into the egg very well.

The pancakes aren’t that large, but they are done pretty well. There are like chocolate chips inside and fresh strawberries on top. A nice addition you can have to the omelette.

excellent family style Italian food

Buca di Beppo offers the best family style Italian food I have ever had. The portions are large, and have a decent variety. There are meatballs, pizza, pasta, baked pasta, chicken, veal and excellent desserts. The important thing about a restaurant is the food quality though, and Buca di Beppo is one of the best places to go for Italian food in my opinion. The tiramisu is also full of rum, for those who like their desserts alcohol-y. =d

one of the best dim sum places ever

NBC definitely rates as one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. They have a huge variety of dim sum, and they are all really tasty. I could go into detail about certain dishes, but I have different preferences, and all of them are delicious anyways. It is also really cool how customers can order large amounts of dim sum to go, so they have a store of food at home or don’t want to eat there. Safe to say, this service is abused. =D

If you come here at dinner time, when there is no dim sum, they still have good food. Most of the dishes are traditional Chinese dishes, but me and family got a flashy, expensive crab dish. They put blinking lights for eyes on the shell! It was also very delicious, especially the crab noodles.
Anyways, if you like Chinese food at all, this is the place to go, although the location isn’t the best and there is always a wait.

quality American food

I love Cheesecake Factory for its cheesecake (obviously) and their tasty dishes. They offer a large variety of foods, even offering some breakfast items for lunch and dinner. I find that the basic dishes are especially good here, because they make it really fancy and tasty so it is unique compared to others. For example, their chicken pot pie is damn crazy. Their breakfast burritos are also ridiculously large. And then when it comes to cheesecake, they have a huge variety of different kinds, catering to people of all tastes. The restaurant itself is always clean and well kept, with a nonobtrusive design. The wait here can be really long though, so you better get there early, or send a sacrificial lamb to get a buzzer. All the food I have gotten here is tasty, and served in large portions. I think this is the best place to eat at the Irvine Spectrum.
