Being partial to thin crust pizza, the flatbread selections were perfect for a weekend lunch. Plus, the backyard patio (w/ canopy) is a great place to take advantage of a sunny day.
We ordered 4 flatbreads and it was the perfect amount for 4 people to share, be satisfied and not too stuffed. The bacon, green pea & sunny side up egg flatbread was unique and stood out compared to the more traditional toppings.

Great Wicker Park Division street location and good pulled pork. The beef brisket was too dry and not flavorful enough for my liking. It did have a good amount of smoke flavor and perhaps that appeals to some, but I prefer the brisket at Smoque. The pulled pork was close to perfection. moist, non overwhelming sauce and yet still had enough smoke flavor. Get it in sandwich form and you’ll have more than enough for a meal under $10.
Avoid green beans as a healthy alternative side dish. Too oily and not the freshest beans. Perhaps the cornbread or mac n cheese are safer bets.
I’ll probably go again, but only because it’s close to me.

What a lively atmosphere, HUGE portions and very “homemade” feel to the food.
I had the fish tacos which i was expecting to be made of some cheap fish, but was actually mahi mahi which is one of my faves. very generous heapings of fish and when accompanied with random veggies (a half potato, a whole carrot, tomatoes, etc) it made for a very colorful plate. Cost for the lunch portion was $8. Amazing!
Cannot wait to go back and try something new. I want to try the shrimp cocktail, which everyone seemed to be ordering.
5 stars.

More latin american influences than strictly mexican IMO. Very inviting decor – colorful but not too loud. Good amount of seating inside plus the requisite sidewalk seating for division.
Ordered the duck barbacoa tacos and tilapia. The tilapia and duck were very tender and made with fresh ingredients. the accompanying sides however (rice, beans left something to be desired) Portions good enough to satisfy, not enough to take home like at the usual mexican joint.
Entrees run $15-$20.
