We’ve tried several dishes on the menu and all were very tasty. The peanut sauce is excellent.
Because you can choose tofu for many of the dishes it’s vegetarian friendly also.
My only complaint would be that on at least two occassions the staff had several family members, including small children, hanging around the restaurant and they all kind of stood around and visited through our entire dining.
Aside from this one annoyance, I’d continue to eat there because it’s one of the best Thai places in South King County.
Dishes I tried:
Rice with brocolli & tofu
The rice was cooked just right as was the brocolli. There was plenty of tofu and it was cispy on the outside and firm and juicy on the inside.
Wide noodles with brocolli, peanuts and tofu
The wide noodles were good but a little soft for my taste. The brocolli was cooked just right. The tofu was very good with a generous portion.

Wonderful Catered lunch from Phnom Penh Noodle House
It was just another meeting until this fantastic catered lunch arrived.
Although I can’t tell you about the taste of the meat and seafood items—I’m a vegetarian—and the tofu dishes didn’t have name cards..what I can tell you is that the three tofu dishes that were served were exceptional.
The tofu was prepared to perfection in all three dishes. The noodle dish had fried tofu, as did a vegetable dish and another vegetable dish had steamed tofu and was covered on top with toasted peanuts. With the food as yummy as it was I intend to use this restaurant for my next business or family get together.

I gave this restaurant 3 stars because of the delicious fresh rolls where as the other dishes I’ve tried are good but not consistantly good.
The first time I tried the Kow Pad Pineapple it was very good with the pineapple grilled and flavorful, the cashews
crunchy and the snowpeas firm. The second time I had it however, it had too much curry and the rice was sticky. I asked for fried tofu in the dish and they forgot to fry it.
For my visit last evening the Kow Pad was better but not as good as my first visit. The cashews were soggy and the pineapple had no flavor. I won’t be eating there again in the near future.
Dishes I tried:
Fresh Rolls
A wonderfully flavorful appetizer. Red and green leaves with thin noodles, fresh cilantro and basil wrapped in rice paper. The sweet and sour peanut sauce is great. It comes stuffed with shrimp but we substituted tofu.
Pad Thai
The dish was very sweet tasting. The noodles tasted like they’d been fried. Not our favorite.
Spring Rolls
Deep fried rolls stuffed with vegetables and served with plum sauce. Very good with a light taste.

05/03/2008anything that combines peanuts and tofu – and then broccoli, too! – is hard to mess up, in my opinion. i mean, i could probably mess it up, but it would be difficult.
