Good food but ugly and bright inside

The food was fresh and tasty.

The bright lights and loud radio will keep me from returning.
Please lower your lights, get a decent music system .Who wants to listen to commercials and news while eating out?

Horrible experience

My husband and I have worked in the resteraunt and hotel industry most of our lives.I bet I haven’t returned a dish in years.

I ordered a meduim rare steak. My steak arrived overcooked ,the same dull brown all the way through and luke warm.
When I showed it to our young waitress she came back to our table with a raw steak on the plate and a lecture on steaks . It was embrassing and disgusting!!The steak was then replaced although we are not talking or enjoying the evening anymore. This steak was better.
When the bill came, handwritten it charged for 2 steaks!!
My husband spoke to the wife of the couple who own the resteraunt ,as I went to leave the husband yells from the from the kitchen at me..you order 2 steaks..you pay for 2 steaks.I am just in shock!!

The steak was brown all the way through like a pot roast.
Just tough and terrible at $40.00!

Great happy hour lemondrops, martini or cosmos, 1/2 price pizza try the all meat, the prawn app is wonderful and plenty of them.oh did I forget the blackend chicken,or the huge salads, steamed clams etc etc

It’s kinda of a "Cheers " sort of place everyone knows your name or soon will

staff is friendly ,even the kichen crew,,the warm colors make it relaxing ,in the summer there is a patio…granted right off the road but hey its Crown Hill
You can leave with a full tummy,a grin and a few bucks left in your wallet

Little quality

The food is of average to low quality. It’s like an Italian Denny’s. Sure the portion sizes are huge…so probably more of a family resteraunt then the decor suggests.

I would not go back again by choice, and have actually turned down several business dinners. No thanks!

Perfect rainy day fare

This place is a long time favorite of mine.

I’ve never had anything that wasn’t good come out of that kitchen in what 18 years?!

Lunch is very resonable as is their 2 happy hours a day.

Your meal starts with crusty bread and fresh roasted garlic make sure your date eats it ,too. It’s worth the “garlic breath!”

I'll be back

I like the quiet atmoshere and tasty food.

This would make a nice date resteraunt as it’s not loud and you can hear each other.

Even my teen likes this place!

What took me so long to find this place?

From the moment you step into the bar you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to another place…(is this Ballard?)

They have cocktails with warning labels as they mix herbs in their drinks…the ice tea martini is amazing. This guy is like “master” bartender.

Don’t be shy eat with your hands and let them whisk you away!

to much..yet not enough!

Be prepared. upon entering we were invited to tour the wine cellar..an amazing collection! We were offered wine or punch ( no mention there would be an up charge on already an almost $500.00 meal)..toured the gardens tasting fresh herbs..a very promising start.

The chef explained the courses and matched wines with each.So 9 courses I’m concerned about being “overfull” no need to worry..they pour a full glass of wine for each tiny portion..( I’m hungry) food? Here have some more wine…yes..the food is fab..but I’m hungry….have another dinky delicous bit..and some more wine…look if your going to keep pouring me wine could I atleast have the one I like? More up charges.

If you go …DO sit at a group table..they seemed to be having fun. I felt at my little table like I had to sit and be quiet. They are all laughing…can I please have something to eat…4 hours is a long to sit on my ass.
