they have the best lasagna in town!!! they specialize in pasta (obviously), but they even have steaks. everything i’ve tried is pretty good. the atmosphere is somewhat of an old cabin with loud ambient noise. menu prices range from $6-15 a dish. wouldn’t recommend for a romantic date, but definately a must try.

happy hour has some great prices — i mean 2.95 for a burger and 4.95 for a steak sandwich… really isnt that bad, especially when it tastes really good. i recommend the steak sandwich — maybe 2 since these prime rib filled sandwiches are the size of White Castle burgers. the only down side is you have to order 2.75 worth of drinks, and the only HH beer on tap is bud light.

just order the hoegaarden — supposedly they warm the GIANT GLASS CUP that you get it in so when the beer hits the cup, you get a better taste. i just like the cup. 1 PINT.

bar/pizza/grill on the waterfront of ruston way, tacoma. make sure u’re 21, because they wont let you in. as soon as you walk in, you order… and its open seating.

be cautious of their pre-designed pizza… its not as appetizing as i thought they’d be. but their burgers are good.

atmosphere is bar like, and bit on the noisy side. expect to spend at least $15 for food and beer.

theres a conveyor belt of sushi on colored plates and you pick whatever you want to eat. gives you the choice of eating only what you want. plus they make the sushi upon request. SEARED SALMON probably the best thing they make there, and its only 1.50.

just make sure u get there mad early because there is a line up the wazoo.

beautiful view of the water gives it a great atmosphere to enjoy your dinner, especially when you get to sit out on the dock. limited menu, but everything i had there was good.

food is pretty good, but definately not worth the check. they serve hoegaarden in a huuuge mug without handles but supposedly they heat up but the mug before pouring. they also have “icebergs” for you beer, which is lemonade ice balls. interesting, but not that good. nice and fancy place to go on the lake, but im sure i could think of a few others that would be better. valet at the lower parking for $3.

one of the better korean restaurants in washington — a tad on the high end, $8 for soontofu. the korean bbq is probably their biggest attraction. service used to be amazing, but now — subpar for what you pay. but if you want quality, you wont be disappointed.

in the heart of proctor district… this mexican restaurant is amazing. order the DOS or the fajita — really good. their sangria is pretty nice as well. food is about $15-20 a plate and the portions are about 1.5 that of other places. highly recommend.

i have 2 words for this place: HAPPY HOUR!!! chocolate and beer at a much discounted price. i’ve only had chocolate there — and dont get suckered into getting the almond armetto (sp?)… not only is it expensive, but it doesn’t taste very good at all.
