Juicy tacos!
The best chicken soft tacos I’ve ever eaten! tortillas so soft, and meat is lean, two just don’t do the job, you’ll be craving more. YOu can also order out, avoid the long lines.
Dishes I tried:
Chicken Taco
SO JUICY – and lean chicken meat too. You’ll need extra napkins..

Basic breakfast place
This place is good alternative to crazy busy Stacks, and has your regular breakfast fare – good sized hashbrowns & eggs, but pancakes were bland, even though I ordered the special macadamia nut banana pancakes – it was like white flour plain pancakes with a scant few bananas & nuts. My friend had an egg breakfast though, and it was pretty decent- big portions, for price.
Dishes I tried:
Banana Macadamia Pancakes
Scant bananas & nuts, bland pancake mix. I wouldn’t order this again – next time maybe get waffles or eggs.

Fresh food, and great service!
This restaurant is so cute, and the service was impeccable – the chef even comes out to help seat and greet people, very homey/family feeling. Many families dining out too, for a nice dinner out. Food was all superbly fresh tasting, timing of service was perfect, and they cook with mostly organic ingredients!
Dishes I tried:
lamb chops
SO juicy and tender, and 4 big pieces too!

Great, fast, good priced brunch
Good healthy food options, since it’s near a gym. huge omelets, great whole grain pancakes, all freshly made and delicious!
Dishes I tried:
Banana walnut pancakes
Great pancckes, grainy yet not too dense. Bananas were just sliced on top though, I would’ve preferred them in the batter. but still great tasting, and very fresh!

Great Korean, not crowded!
This family run restaurant is great Korean, and contrary to the rest of the good korean places on Geary, it’s never crowded, they don’t rush you out, and the food is delicious. Every time I’ve been there, they also give you hot tofu soup on the house, so you don’t even have to order that. And the small dish variety is great, as is the menu huge. Grilled mackeral, pancakes, besides all the great bbq stuff.. we left stuffed!

Dishes I tried:
Pantry Special
Egg scramble with spinach, sausage, mushrooms – so good. And the hashbrowns, with grilled onions on top – I’ve never had any browns like this, SO tasty. And the plate was HUGE!

Friendly service, yummy comfort food
This place was really cozy, all the staff was super friendly and nice, you felt like serving their own friends. The wait was pretty short too, they move people through pretty fast, but on the other hand we kinda felt bad when we were done since they move people so fast, that you had to leave.
Everyone’s food was great too – so can’t complain!
Dishes I tried:
Blueberry Pancake
Actually I think the menu just said pancakes, but you can add blueberries – and I had them fold them in the batter – and they were DELICISIOUS! Juicy huge blueberries, I’ve never had blueberry pancakes this tasty – they could’ve even been fresh blueberries, not that syruppy fake stuff that lots of places put in pancakes.

Great Brunch place!
Fast service, great food, and bright homey atmosphere. The servers are super friendly, you can sip coffee while waiting indoor or on the patio, this place is a great hangout after a hike or bikeride in the marin area, which there are TONS! Everything on the menu (and on onther tables) looks SO good, over time we’ll try everything :) Fresh ingredients, simple, and very fast – so you don’t have to spend forever drooling over your neighbor’s plates.
Dishes I tried:
Sunflower Waffle
I’ve never had a sunflower seed wheat belgian waffle – a great combo – light batter, and the seeds give it a nice crunch, more places should offer this!

Great Greek and everything else!
Everything on the menu was delicious – from the pizzas and calzones, to beef and chicken gyros, shrimp fettucine, and that greek lasagna – heavenly :)
Dishes I tried:
Calzone
Order a small, it’s the size of a large plate! Spinach and mushroom were just perfect, balance with cheese not too greasy. COuld’ve used a little more tomato sauce for my taste though, otherwise delicious! Crust very fresh.
Gyro Salad
BIG Salad with chicken gryo meat, pitas, and of cousre all the yummy greek salad fixings. Perfect way to get your gyro kick and greens in one plate, and extras to take home.

Great for special occassions!
I’ve been here a few times now, and I say it’s great for special occasions because it’s pretty pricey – but the ambience is spectacular – very bright big room in the back with beautiful sea-themed decorations throughout. Make sure you sit in back though so you get to experieince this, if you sit in front, it’s nice too, but you’re overlooking the bar, and it kind of feels like you’re sitting above a walkway. Guess it’s good for people watching, but just feels like overflow seating. Food is primary all seafood focused – very fresh, clean, solid flavors – sometimes a little to basic though. Apps & desserts were actually better than main dishes. You pay really for the experience & ambience.
Dishes I tried:
Steamed Turbot
The concept and design were beautiful, turbot stuffed with seafood foie gois, and then in cabbage leaves and steamed – but the turbot was a little too fishy flavored for me. on top of carrots & celery confetti, added good flavor to otherwise strong/bland fish.
