I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is actually quite good and building your own stir fry is a lot of fun. However, it was quite simply the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. I was in a group of eight diners and when of the orders did not arrive at the table with the others, we assumed it was because they did not all fit on the grill at the same time. We figured it would arrive a few minutes later, but after waiting nearly 20 minutes we were finally able to flag down our waiter to ask him about the delay. He explained that the meal had been dropped on the floor and that it would be free. Well, mistakes happen, but that wasn’t what was upsetting. We wondered when our waiter was planning to tell us the fate of that final bowl of stir fry. Surely, the bowl had been dropped near around the same time that the other bowls had been served more than 20 minutes ago. Now, with many of us finishing up our meals, the unlucky diner had to return to the stir fry bar to build another dish and waited yet another 20 minutes for the food to be cooked and served. We asked our waiter if it would be possible to move her dish to the front of the line to be cooked, but unfortunately, he was incapable of doing this. We had now spent nearly an extra hour at the restaurant (meanwhile none of our drinks had been refilled) and so we asked to speak with the manager to voice our complaints. The manager was completely unsympathetic, and to be honest, quite rude. About the only satisfactory thing that they did was remove the automatic gratuity charge after we requested it be removed. It was the first time I have ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip. Had either the waiter or the manager ever uttered a word that even resembled an apology, we all would have felt completely different about the experience and my rating would be different. A simple “sorry for the wait,” would have gone a long way, but as it is, none of us will ever dine at this restaurant again.
