Known for their chili dogs and chili cheese fries, Ben’s is a great place to go on U street after going out to the bars. Not for the super healthy or faint of heart, enjoy the food for what it is. The chili is worth the long-line wait.

Their rolls are ginormous. I’ve never done the all-you-can-eat but their sushi portions are very very fresh and absolutely delicious. Oh, and they’re super busy during the evenings; you can also order for delivery.

Made to order and they have A1 steak sauce. It reminded me of childhood backyard BBQs where your mom puts together the burger fresh and the lettuce is still crisp. As good as In-N-Out burger but different since they use different sauces. Worth the trip.

2 1/2 stars? Pretty good, I would say average food. I had the fish & chips and a rootbeer float. Very friendly waitresses and a great view surrounded by water. Family-friendly, saw a lot of babies, toddlers and kids.
