My favorite restaurant! I think I like the one in Lakeview better because we were sitting in a better spot and it was not as noisy. Their menu changes often according to the ingredients they receive. I love italian food with fresh tomato sauces so this place is great!

This place was very delicious and serves Argentinian food. They serve churrasco (breaded steak topped with a layer of tomato sauce) and mine had a thick bubbly layer of cheese and a side of rice. We also had the empanadas and the sangria. I was sooo full afterwards because the steaks are humongous! I think the portions are very generous!

I didn’t go there for a full meal, but I had some delicious appetizers/drinks. I had bison, which tasted suprisingly good and some small crabcakes there were just perfect. Slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with a little bit of sauce on the top. What i liked best was probably the pizza-amazing! Very thin crust with fresh vegetables and chicken along with stretchy cheese. I would definitely recommend their pizza.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, and it is one of my best friend’s favorite places in the city. While the wait was long (about 45 min.), we sipped on hot cider (with jamaican rum) while we waited. We ordered the shiitake quesadillas as an appetizer (filled with queso fresco, spinach, and shiitake mushrooms with sour cream and salsa on the side). I had the “fettucine alfredo”, a twist on a favorite. Pasta with pumpkin egg cream, braised duck, brown sugar bread crumbs, pecorino, and something green and crunchy (cabbage?). I was a little disappointed by the lack of duck (one of the main reasons I ordered it), but it was delicious none the less! I about died when I was too full to try desert…maybe next time!

This place serves frozen custard everything-sundaes, custard sandwiches, cones, waffle cones, “concretes” (custard with mix-ins). I had a wafer cone with pumpkin custard ( a specialty of the season). It was pretty good, except that I would like to go back and try a strawberry concrete sometime—vanilla custard with fresh strawberries and wipped cream.

The good thing about this place is that it has a nice ambiance—great place to take a date, or to hang out with friends since you get to pre-occupy yourself by dipping into yummy fondue. There is cozy seating and the place itself is decorated trendy etc. The food is pretty good-I had the cheese fondue (southwestern style; slightly spicy), an asian salad with mandarin oranges and a sweet dressing, the oil pot (you get batter to dip your items in) with surf and turf, and to finish off-a darker chocolate fondue. The setbacks to this place is that it is pretty expensive for very small pieces of meat and shrimp. The salad was pretty small and not very impressive. The wait time for everything was also very long. My suggestion for this place is that you should come if you have money to burn and are looking for something to do for the night. Either way, I still had a great time there.

I would give the place 4 stars for certain things—their Mocha is great! Pretty chocolate-y for a mocha, but delicious. If you sit in for it they serve it in a tea pot, and put small jello cubes (maybe grass jelly?) on the bottom of the cup. The food is ok ( 3 stars), but it’s pretty cheap overall.
