Raves all the way around...
Work nearby so have been to several times now and service is always good and food always great!
We asre often in at or just after busy times so the tables have been dirty- but they are cool tables-home made arty pieces with embedded items and drawings and the walls are decorated with a variety of items- sculptures and decorated pizza boxes are in the majoority.
They have a daily special – a slice of pizza with soup or salad- your choice4 of toppings for the slice and the salad. Really good blue cheese dressing- runny once but usually thick with good chucnk of cheese in it.
Kids will enjoy the art- the good flavors and the playing card order numbers. Water is self serve- ask for ice if you want it.
Looks like a decent selection of brews and wines but we drink water. Seversl bottled drinks- the kid ordered an Izzy.
They deliver for $2 and the menu has a good selection. They do breakfast too (9 am)- will have to try it sometime.

Dishes I tried:
Slice and Salad
tried Italian sausage and pepperoni. Sausage the real deal- lots of flavor. Pepperoni – big slices and both were nummy. Slice is almost half a personal pi9zza size wise – I watch carbs so I have only half- with the salad I am full and have the rest for a snack later.
I get tomato on the salad. Big fresh flavorful chuncks of it.
Personal Pepperoni
Kids standby- really enjoys- says crust very flavorful. Usually has just over half and shares my salad.

Fried Zucchini- whoda thought?
Nummy! Does not taste like a vegie at all :D
Have been to three Carls- one in Beaverton- the one on 82 and Powell (inside ok except for dirtyish bathrooms but outside loads of homeless and ’working’) and the CTC mall . Bvt was the cleanest and fastest. CTC store was super super SUPER slow- seriously. Food good at all three. Have had the Prime rib burger- s’ok, nothing spectacular, and the $6 avacado bacon burger- very good :) The chocolate cake is a fave of a friend of mine but the zucchini rocks my world!
Dishes I tried:
The Six Dollar Guacamole Bacon Burger
Excellent- lots of guac too.

Local long time fave
Ye olde small town place. Restaurant between two attached bars- one bar is closed for remodeling- going to be like the ’Dotty’s’. (there is a ’foxy’s’also very close- owned by same people).
Big parking lot on the side. Daily specials for lunch and dinner- cheap eats menus for breakfast and lunch in addition to special- see window on way in for dailies and regular specials.
Smoking bar.
Lots of booths up front and the regular counter with stools- plus bigger dining room in back and another room in the very back for meetings and groups.
Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 pm is live music night. Pick-up jazz regulars and guests) play with singers and lots of audience participation.
They run coupons in the local hand-outs and charge gratuity on music nights (have to – too many people sit for hours enjoying the music!).
Family friendly- coloring sheets for kids and good kid menu.
Dishes I tried:
Prime Rib Dip Sandwich
Not thin sliced- it is a real steak. Comes with fries but I sub salad.
Prime Rib
Good old-fashioned cuts- good size portions
Chicken Salad
Depends on the waitress but usually pretty large portions- good mix
Tillamook Cheeseburger
one kids fave- juicy and big
2 cheese omlette
Excellent and filling

So sad
This place is right on the way to many places we go so we were going there a lot. Sadly we have decided not to go there anymore because the service has become so inconsistent or consistently bad.
We have yet to have a menu and waiter/waitress come to the table in under 20 min. Ok so we expect that- if there were menus on the table we could at least look at it but only the deal flip cards are there. Sometimes we have missed the time window for the happy hour stuff because they did not come over in time. Food is still really really good- but orders are always wrong- loads of onions when asked for NO onions- the tater tot order was a whopping 9 last time when it was close to 30 the time before and the kids burger was drenched in sauces when she asked for it ti be dry. This stuff happens over and over and the noise volume is unbelievable. We have to scream the order – but even when we write it down for them it still comes back wrong.
We may try again at some point but not anytime soon. What a shame :(
Dishes I tried:
hummus platter
We missed the happy hour window for the half plate 3 times waiting for the waiter/ess. For twice the $ we got about the same size two out of three times- LOADED with the damned onions, One time the bread was under the hummus so was soggy when we got home 10 min later.
burger
I think it was a cheeseburger- again all three times ordered plain came with sauce.

Great for casual family dining
We have been going there for several years and always go away full with at least one ‘doggie bag’.
The Gparents introduced us and the kids love it, even the grown up kids- if for nothing else then the peanut shell tossing. You get bowls of peanuts to much while you wait and you are supposed to toss the shells on the floor (or at each other). large portions, good flavor, prices a bit spendy but that is to be expected- it’s not fast food.
The womens bathroom is terribly dark though, cavelike! Small children might be spooked.
Dishes I tried:
Prime Rib
The small is BIG. Cooked exactly how I asked. Got a baked potato with it and next time will ask for ‘extra’ sour cream and butter as it was only enough for a few bites. Salad excellent- good dressing, flavor in every bite and the bacon chunks were big enough to really taste!

Great for that fast meal
LOVE the online ordering!
They always show up in under 25-30 min (we do live nearby). Generally friendly staff and service- great delivery people.
Dishes I tried:
$5 pizzas
We get thin and regular crust. Always as expected.
$7 Pizzas
Except that they DO limit what you put on it’s a great deal. We wanted a ‘monster’ pizza but they kept giving us error messages (too many- won’t be the quality we want)- yeah unlimited should MEAN unlimited (and we did not have everything, or even close to it), but they were good anyway so we were not too unhappy.

Starbucks as Starbucks as Starbucks...
We have been going since they opened the first version, then they expanded. Atmosphere nice, comfy furniture. Feels very safe as is close to PD HQ and lots of police stop by :)
Music is often VERY LOUD and we think we saw some karaoke happening one night but did not linger to be sure…
Most staff are very nice and helpful. NOBODY gets my order right even though I splurged on the special order card with the directions printed on it- even when POINTED OUT and said out loud more then once, but hey you can’t have everything :)
We go alll the time, glad to have them nearby- we have an odd dearth of SB in the area.
Dishes I tried:
Coffee of the day- Venti
Coffee of the day with two inches of ice at the bottom (I use a straw because of tooth pain issues), no room.
Sometimes I go de-caf, but really- is it that hard?

Standard fare
We have been coming since they opened. Restroom has always been dirty, no matter when we come. Food always fresh and they are very nice about making the sandwich exactly how we like them. You used to be able to get extra meat for $1 then $2 then they made a whole ‘extra meat’ menu selection after Quiznos opened nearby (may be coincidence ) but that doubled the sandwich price- for an extra 3-4 slices of meat?
We liked the daily sandwiches but wished they’d put something besides tuna on Friday. We like the new deal but they need some good coupons!
It seems a little run down for a fairly new place, but we go there often, it is close and cheapish and convenient.

Standard lunch stuff
not to far from work so we often pick up lunch. Go BEFORE 11ish or it is way too busy. Nice employees , food is fresh. Prices are spendy but quality is consistent.
Dishes I tried:
The Traditional
They don’t peel out the inner layer of bread which means I have to do it after it is made- messy (Subway does). Tastes good though!

Long time fan
We have been going there there as long as I remember! Oh the glories of standing on tippy toe with my nose pressed against the display cases with those scrumptious desserts!
Now that i am old and diabetic I do not go as often, though the food is always good .
The last time I went was to the one out in outer SE (122?). It was looking run down, dated and a bit seedy- but the food was just as terrific as remembered, if still pricey.
Dishes I tried:
Reuben
Oh how I miss rye bread… tender cb tart and crisp sauerkraut and a long dill pickle slice.
Suddenly I am hungry….

Libbies updated the menu. it has been a few years since they upped the prices so it was time- but while some are a reasonable amount- some things were really hiked.
The side bar is ‘The Golden nugget’ bar now.
