Love this 24 hour dinner! Sort-of run down looking dinner bustling w/ hipsters lounging on their outdoor tables. Dog-walkers, tattoed folks and the rest of us subject ourselves to the grueling wait on busy days to get a taste of their delectable and inventive dishes. Love the Thai Cobb salad, ALL breakfast dishes, and their cutesy little dollar pancakes. My only complaint is the inattentive service.

I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It has a cool artsy feel to it. It’s definitely a cool place to go hang out w/ friends. They have decent food, (although a bit overpriced for what you get.) It’s a place I’d recommend, if you were dressed up, and everything else in downtown was closed or booked.

New Hollywood hot-spot. Dress to impress. There is plenty of eye candy to go around. The food is typically overpriced for what you get (which is expected, of course). The flatbread/ pizza-like dishes are pretty good. The quality of the tapa dishes were good, can’t complain, but nothing to write home about. Good place. Would probably visit again.

Great liitle French bistro in Los Feliz area....
Great liitle French bistro in Los Feliz area. It feels so authentic and un-L.A., if anything feels more like New York. The emphasis here is good food using fresh ingredients, well prepared and not overly seasoned. I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. I remember their fish dish being really good. I also have to mention— BEST fries!!

Super cozy little restaurant in the Los Feliz area. The food is really yummy and authentically Brazillian. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have a wine bar next door (same owners) with nice ambiance. Try it, you will not regret it. I have been known to eat at this restaurant 3 times in 1 week!

Low-key eatery w/ hip vibe on Melrose’s restaurant row. The ambiance is trendy (in a moderate and comfortable way). The food is excellent; fresh, inventive and absolutely delicious. Check out their website for some of their offerings. Great place to hang out, love it!!

Went to Hokusai on a Sat. night. I was thinking, “What’s all the hype about?” The place was pretty desolate considering it was the weekend. The sushi was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The froi gras was a huge dissapointment. The ambiance was its only saving grace. Don’t know if I’d go back, though.
