This is my favorite restaurant in Mountain View. Service is a little slow and it is a little loud, but the food is excellent; well prepared, very innovative and tasty, a good but not overwhelming selection, and reasonable prices. Favorite dishes: Buddha roll, grapefruit salad, sweet and sour soup.

I eat Neto’s breakfast pastries. They are among the best pastries I have found in Mountain View (Prolific Oven in Palo Alto is better but further away). Traditional Jewish delights like babka and rugalach, great croissant and pan chocolat. Only tried lunch a few times and was not impressed.

This is my favorite Mountain View coffee shop. Great coffee, great relaxed ambiance, the free wireless helps. The pastries and breadstuffs are not great, but OK, and I’ve not eaten any of the food, but that’s not why I’m there: I want good coffee! Slight problem is tippy tables due to uneven flooring.

This is a great Malaysian restaurant. A good wide variety of dishes, very well prepared and presented. Prices are somewhat high, and service can often be slow, but if you have the time for a leisurely lunch or want a good dinner place, this is a very fine bet.
