Eating in NYC is supposed to be expensive. Well, shut your faces and come to HKG where quality only rarely does the phone number looking prices justice. Yasuda wins hands down for quality/dollar, anywhere I’ve eaten in the world (perhaps with the exception of Tsukiji…) – I walked out only $25 lighter (prix fixe), but with a whole lotta wild jumpin marine life in my belly. Plus the calm, lofty blond wood (hinoki, perhaps?) interiors makes this place comfy and never pretentious.
