Not gourment sushi, but decent quality and a fantastic value
This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at and can’t be beat when you want to get a sushi fix without breaking the bank. The sushi is “mass-produced” — balls of rice made by a machine are topped off with pre-sliced fish and pre-made salads. This often leads to nigiri that doesn’t quite stay together, but that’s part of the fun. Because they go through so much volume, I find the fish to be very fresh (sometimes fresher than significantly more expensive restaurants nearby). The salmon nigiri is excellent and highly recommended.
The restaurant is very popular so expect long waits (30-60 minutes during peak times).
I’ve tried a bunch of different converyor belt sushi places (including Sushi Yama, and Aa) but I still keep coming back to Sushiland!
