Yummy Soup
Pallino’s isn’t a romantic cozy restaurant. It has more of a cafeteria type feel to it. You order at the counter and then they bring it out to your table. The desserts are behind glass at the counter and it’s hard not to order one of each. I’ve only been here for lunch and it can get quite busy and the noise level is high. But, they are pretty fast with the orders, especially if you’re just having soup.
Dishes I tried:
Ministrone Soup
A cup of soup is $3.95, a bowl is $5.95. This soup is very filling and hearty with lots of big cheese filled tortellinis. They serve it with a nice chewy breadstick and if you ask real nice, they might give you an extra piece. It’s perfect for soaking in the sauce, or break it into chucks and add to the soup. The bowl of soup is perfect for lunch.

11/20/2008i have mixed feelings about the cafeteria-style restaurants. i never end up enjoying it as much as a sit-down place. but that soup does sound delicious!
