Maybe it’s because I don’t normally eat in this sort of restaurant, but I was impressed. My meal came to my table on a sword – that’s right, a sword – oh, and it was on fire. The risotto was amazing. No dessert for us, no room, but they brought a platter of fruit, nuts, and really good fancy cheese anyway, to round out the meal. I ached for hours afterward because of how much I ate, and I was even splitting all of it.

I can’t remember what I ate here, but both times it was something a little bit lemony and a big bit delicious. Must go back and order something else lemony.

Soup and little fishy sandwiches. The tastiest lunch I’d had in a long time, all three times I’ve been there. It’s starting to be my standard way to impress out-of-towners, or in-towners for that matter. Yumtastic. Their dinner menu is totally different. I’ve never tried dinner there.

The ritziest office-ordered pizza ever. Snooty ingredients and lots of garlic. Rich. High-class pizza.

Mediocre pizza, smokey atmosphere, huge screen TV with “sporting” events, and occasionally the glasses still taste like soap… But sometimes there just aren’t any other options in Sandy.

It used to be better, under previous management. Not the food, mind you, the food’s been the same as long as I can remember… but the service has definitely gone downhill. I was hoping the service decline would be offset by a menu change, but no.

Not bad. Average-ish pizza place. Better than Paola’s down the road. Nice booths.

For some reason, this is the end-all, be-all donut shop for anyone who’s ever been through Sandy, ever. I just don’t get it. There’s nothing special about Joe’s Donuts. They’re regular donuts. There’s nothing remarkable about them at all. I have been highly disappointed by them, considering everyone I know gasps and exclaims, “Joe’s!” everytime they drive by. What is wrong with you people?

Really good sandwiches, and while they’re making your sandwich for you, there’s entertaining merchandise to browse through. I haven’t tried any of the actual baked goods, just the sandwiches. The sandwiches are more worth a stop than Joe’s, that’s for sure.

More burger than you could possibly want. Especially if you get a bunch of friends together, notify them 48 hours in advance, and order the 5lb. burger to share. Yes, it’s ridiculous. Yes, it’s way too much food. You might just have to do it once, though.
